Faswillah's academic pursuits span language, education, psychology, and philosophy. She holds a BA in Linguistics from the University of Johannesburg and was a member of the UJ Arts Academy Poetry Class. Her work has been featured on The Poedcast and Poetry Potion, and published in the New Contrast Literary Journal and The Last Girls Club Magazine. Currently, she is engaged in language research and arts facilitation for primary school children.

Faswillah Nattabi is a Kampala-born, Johannesburg-raised, multifaceted artist and storyteller. Primarily a writer, she aims to provoke curiosity about the human condition through poetry, collage, film, and photography. Faswillah is also a dynamic presenter on The Muslim Gallery, where her engaging storytelling captivates audiences.

Beyond her professional achievements, Faswillah has an intriguing and whimsical side. A fun fact about her is that she has a passion for collecting vintage typewriters.
